Trailblazer is the story about fearless creators and innovators, who move forward into unkown territory. This film plays on the hero’s journey, mirroring the relentless drive of the brave fashion graduates presenting their collections to the world. The strong artistic approach of all brands and designers involved in this project prompted us to create a concept inspired by high energy 90’s anime and manga. 

Instead of giving these collections a uniform backdrop, we saw an opportunity to instead embrace the wide variety between aesthetics and build environments for their respective looks.

Each collection is represented by a protagonist in its own world, all within in the Trailblazer universe.

The campaign and film was showcased at Stockholm Fashion Week and at Paris Fashion Week by the Swedish Fashion Council.

My main responsibility was to bring the Trailblazer universe to life through the film and photography making the concept, art direction, film direction, editing and supervising the original score that was created for this project by composer/producer Vanilla Stillefors. Fun fact: it features audio samples by NASA of space sounds and F1 cars.
